Description
Nor-Guard® OV11 Concentrate is a premixture (mixture of flavouring compounds) with a high content of natural antioxidants for inclusion in feeds for aquaculture. The product is a combina-tion of an extract made from grape (Vitis vinifera) and an extract of olive leaves (Olea europaea).
Nor-Guard® OV11 Concentrate contains a unique combination of water soluble and fat soluble antioxidants. The total content of polyphenols is 300 mg/g (Folin-Ciocalteu). The typical antioxidative activity measured by the ORAC value is 4500 μmol TE/g. The product thus provides all-round effects due to the synergism between antioxidants with different solubility in water and fats.
Nor-Guard® OV11 Concentrate can be used in extruded, expanded and pelleted feeds, as well as in meal feeds. The product is formulated as a free-flowing powder ready for use by producers of premixes and concentrates, as well as by feed manufacturers and home mixers.
